I've been doing a lot of research about vaccines and would like to give my daughter the MMR vaccine seperately instead of all at once. I don't know for certain if it has anything to do with autism, but I'm working on an alternative schedule for all vaccines so her little body isn't bombarded all at once with all the different ones. I really want to give the MMR seperately, but I understand that is hard to find unless you can get 10 families to go in on it together (they are sold in packs of 10). I wanted to toss it out there to see if there are other parents out there who are feeling the same way and would be interested in looking at doing this with us. If so, shoot me an email: dawn_zaremba@hotmail.com.
Thanks!
Re: Anyone interested in seperate MMR vaccine?
I called the MN Dept of Health before Maya's 12 month appt re: MMR, they do not have it seperated out. They did suggest to call a travel clinic, but no dice.
Right now, I am not doing MMR.
I looked into it a little bit and even though no company is currently producing the separate doses at this time...I have heard that Merck plans to start production again in 2011.
