Just one kid and 2 dogs here, and I'm going nuts too! Our backyard is a swamp, so even when it does stop raining, it will take a while for it to dry out.
I decided we needed an early nap time today just because I had to have a break. We haven't gotten out of our pj's, and I'm not sure that we will. I will not be venturing out in this unless absolutely necessary!
We've taught our dog 'towel'. When we say that, she goes from the back door to her towel until we tell her she's 'free' so I don't have to both with wiping her off/down unless I'm not busy with little dude.
Not something you want to stress about teaching while it's icki out, but you can get it started!
Good luck. Maybe hit a story time or something with the kiddos.

And I *had* to go out to replace our DVR -- it died on us while watching football yesterday (the horror!), and we are pretty much TV-holics so I had to take both girls and electronics into the cold rain!
We had to go to the grocery store and the tailors...I'm now in a "I want to hide or scream" mood. No doubt related to taking a 2 year old out in this and dealing with my animals. I hear you loud and clear.
