i woke up with it stuck to my back and no usable temp.

awesome

i usually get up at 7am just to take my temp, and then go back to sleep (I have a very wacky sleep/work schedule). Today, i suppose i was really tired.

I did that today, too. But I woke up when it beeped to tell me it was done.

"david where is my therm?"...*turn to look, back towards him* All i heard was laughing after that.

That sucks! I've fallen asleep with the therm in my mouth as well, but typically wake up when it beeps.

Ooh that happened to me yesterday. Woke up, started taking my temp, must have knocked back out for a good few minutes, when I realized it never beeped, I checked it and it had already gone through automatic shut off!

Haha! I've done that before, but the beep always woke me up. I've also fallen asleep after taking my temp but before I had a chance to put it back on the endtable. I've woven up with it clutched in my hand for dear life before. Missing one temp, though, should be okay. Your charts looks for an overall pattern rather than individual temps... Should be fine!
