Crib on a diagonal...what to put behind it..

We're putting the crib on a diagonal...what should we put on the walls? Two options I've thought of--- putting 2 matching white photo frames there (one on each side) or putting a corner wall shelf up with something on it (I don't know what).  Pic is below--obviously there will be the same curtains on the other window when its done

  • I'm having the same issue with the caddie cornered crib...I think we are going to put LO's name going diagonally down one wall and two 8x10 frames positioned diagonally on the other wall.  I'm interested in seeing what others recommend :)

I think that's a good idea----for us LO's name won't fit diagonally the way you described...so we are going to put his name over his dresser instead.

  • why not try a big ceiling mobile or some paper lanterns to hang? Those are great for filling up corner spaces

  • I agree- i like the glowy corner lighting and have it in my bedroom- our bed sits out from the wall like that a little bit and in the corner we used to have a lamp, but we took it out and put in our homedics soundspa machine- they are AWESOME for babies- our nephew has on and they play different relaxing noises- babbling brook, thunder, fetal/internal heartbeat. I think that would be a great option for you guys until they get bigger!
  • my sister did an angled crib with paper lanterns....soooo cute.
  • Thanks for all the ideas!
