I'm trying to pay attention to how many grams of sugar I'm eating everyday, similar to what I do with caffeine. What's a good number I should try to stick to, or under? I know I should ask my doctor but I don't have an appt till next week. Thanks!
As long as all of your sugar is coming from fruits, veggies, and dairy, don't worry about it. How much added sugar is too much? Any. But, that's no way to live, so limit yourself to one or two sugary treats per week. For a reference point, all my sugars come from fruits, veggies and (some) dairy and I average around 40-60g per day.
