3rd Trimester

Its officially the chair...

So, I've been getting this really bad back pain. But it high up and only on one side (the right). It feels like my muscle is about tear to shreds. Its every day, all day for the past week. On friday I had to drive home with coke botle wedged between my back just to be comfortable. Amazingly it didnt bother me at all Saturday or Sunday. And now, I've been at work for 2 hours and its already kiling me. I look like a wierdo because I have PNV bottle wedged there now! Its gotta be this stupid chair. Or my posture. Or the basketball under my shirt. Probably all 3, but what am I gonna do? I have just under two months left of work...Any suggestions to ease the back pain?

  • I would use a rolled towel behind my back for the first little while, then I brought my stability ball in to sit on in place of the chair.  It was so much easier on my back!

    I have a stability ball that I use at home.. I'm gonna have to ask my boss about bringing it in to use here..

  • My company actually ordered a back support for another pregnant women here b/c her chair was doing that to her.  You may want to check with your office manager about something like that.

    This is a good idea.  I'm having similar pain and my OB suggested a lumbar support for my chair or just bringing in a small pillow.
