amazing story! (25-weeker)

Re: amazing story! (25-weeker)

  • That is amazing! My best friends husband was an ex-26 weeker. He was born in Trinidad and was so small and so sick that the doctors would not give his mother a birth certificate because they were so sure he was going to die. His parents were allowed to bring him home to die ( the doctors filled out the death certificate with no date, so they could fill it in when he finally passed). Once home, his family kept him in a dark heated room and feed him tiny amounts of breast milk day and night. Not only did he live but he thrived. He is currently studying architechture at the University of Florida and is in the Army reserves and has served 18 months in Iraq!! He gives me so much hope!! And he is an awesome person!!!
