Also....PIP yours if you have one. I'd love to see the end result.
My questions:
1. What kind of paint did you use?
I've read acrylic, but then I've heard it might chip off... I just want to avoid using noxious smelling paint as my LO is already born (we moved this past summer or I totally would have had this finished before she was born).
2. Did you varnish over the mural afterwards to seal it?
I also read to do this, I guess this step would take care of any chipping, but again, I'm worried about fumes.

I used acrylic. They sell a clear coat of paint that you use along with acrylics at Micheal's - I did not find it smelled fumey at all.
