i've come so far from the weekends of doing nothing but getting dressed up and staying out till the wee hours.  no more!

this morning i took Lu to the zoo. during nap i went to target, grocery store, got a mani/pedi, stopped for a smoothie. tonight i baked banana bread, made dinner, and did laundry.

now Lu is snoozlin, DH is zoning out and this pg chick is ready to collapse.

    It was! We had a good day, but I'm glad it's over! It's hard getting everyone ready for family pictures (which of course I AW'ed a few posts down!) I went to get some new jeans this morning, and got new jeans, and three tank tops, all for $25. That was an awesome shopping trip.

    Only bad thing that happened? DH lost one of his contacts (first time wearing contacts ever, and he JUST got them yesterday). So now he has to buy a new pair again tomorrow. Blah.

    I was JUST thinking about this today. I was getting pissy thinking how my friends I keep up with on FB from my old single life are complaining about even going out. PUHLEASE! I could use a damn drink thankyouverymuch. But I feel like now I've earned one. so irritating.

    yes! we went a our friends son's second birthday at "The little Gym" DS loved it and had a great time crawling around, then went out to dinner to The Outback with the IL's who paid for it.  Whoop! Can't complain, 2 FREE appletini's and prime rib!

    Nope. My DD is sick, 103 fever and throwing up. Needless to say, this was not the Saturday that I was hoping for.

    No.  I got Ian's first haircut and it was awful.  He cried so hard snot was running all down his face and he was heaving like the wind was knocked out of him.

    Not really. DH and I went Christmas shopping and he was grumpy.

    Hopefully my Sunday night goes better - I got us a B&B and tricked him into taking Monday off. He has no idea! :)
