2 piece snowsuit 18- 24 months

Can someone please tell me where I can find a good quality, warm 2 piece snowsuit for 18-24 months? Lands End no longer sells that size and Columbia snowsuits are $100! I went to Once Upon A Child and couldn't find that size. I tried 2T it's too big...

  • oh shoot there was a really good sale this weekend but it ended today. Have you called/e-mailed a lot of Upon a child?

Good luck if I find one I will let you know

    Where are you located?

  • I would assume from your ticker you're looking for girls:

Do you really need 2 piece? I guess I'd rather get the Lands End Squall one piece than a 2 piece though DS did have a ZeroXposur coat two years ago that held up much better than I thought it would.

  • Oh and if you do decide on the ones from Sears, I would try to check them out in stores, but there will probably be a greater selection online. Whenever we coat shop for DS it is always a mess because you find the color/style you like but they don't have it in the size you need and all the ones in the size you need aren't the right color/style. Much less frustrating (and way less static) shopping online than shuffling through the racks at the store.
  • Friendly Fanny,

I didn't even think about Sears... Thank you and it was very kind of you to include the links!

  • maplewood kohls had some today. I finally found one.

of course, after I bought it, I realized I was winning a hanna andersson snowsuit on ebay....oops.

  • Luckily Kohls is easy to return if you do win the ebay auction. Better to be safe and have two with one to return than to have none! We always get DS's as soon as we see coats in the stores. He's mostly picky about color and I'm picky about quality/warmth, which seems so hard to find unless you want to spend $150 on a set. If you wait until it is cold and snowing, they're practically sold out and then you just have to take whatever you can find in the right size. Of course this year there was an early run on the winterwear since it got cold and snowed so early. We have DS taken care of, but are still looking for DD since I didn't want to buy one and then have her hit a growth spurt. The 2T ones just seem so big, but the 24m ones don't seem like they'd fit if she did hit a growth spurt or two in the next 6 months.
  • I did win, LOL. I can always resell the hanna or return to Kohl's depending on what we decide. If you'd be interested in seeing the hanna, I'd let you have dibs if decide to keep the other. It's an 80...so it's supposed to fit from 10-24 months....

We went to the outlets to get a Oshgosh one...and they didn't have anything left smaller than a 6X! (and this was the second week of October!)

  • I think Carter's clothes hold up well and they have two piece snowsuits.  It's a little pricer but Gap has some nice ones too.  And Target...although I'm not sure of the quality.

all of the targets near me have been sold out of toddler/infant snowsuits for a few weeks. I haven't been in a Gap recently, but the Carter's outlet at Albertville didn't have any toddler snowsuits either.

That's so funny because they had tons of boys snow suits 2 weeks ago, but I guess I didn't even look if there were any girls.

I suppose that could have been true...I didn't look for any boys! LOL. I checked Roseville, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights, Lino Lakes and Forest Lake...of course, they could have gotten more in as well.

  • The last two years we have gotten jackets and snow pants for the boys from Herbergers. We have gotten great prices on London Fogs and have been very happy with how they hold up. Herbergers seems to have coupons in the paper on a weekly basis.
  • I was at Marshall's today in Southdale, they have two piece boys snow suits that are reasonably priced.

    I didn't look at girls.

  • Why not just use a one piece?  They'll just end up with snow up under thier coat at that age any way.  You could also try calling other OUAC stores and burlington coat factory.
