does anyone else wake up a million times in the night and make sure the baby is moving?

It seems very much like I'm BSC, but every time I wake up I have to wait to feel the baby move a few times before I can sleep again. It's causing me to lose a lot of sleep but I'm sure that's preparing me for the baby being here.

Am I the only one who's a freak like this?

I don't wake up to feel LO move, but whenver I get up to go pee he always moves a little bit as I'm laying back down, which is reassuring.

I don't think it's insane, but you say it's causing you to lose a lot of sleep. That's not good for you or the baby. It's important that you're getting proper rest.

Well, I don't have to feel it before I get some sleep, but I take spells where I want to feel it.

I dont wake up to feel her move, but I am waking up because I am sleeping like crap. She doesn't really move at night (not that I am feeling). She doesn't start moving until 8am.

I don't do this as a general rule, but I have a few times when I have woken up flat on my back. I know everyone says that your body will wake you up if being on your back is actually causing a problem, but my OB also said that feeling my baby move is the best measurement I have to how my LO is doing. However, IMO doing this EVERY time you wake up is a little extreme.
