DH is having some friends over for the game tonight and I was going to make some appetizers. I am doing ro-tel dip and pigs in a blanket. I need 1 or 2 more things. Help!

Buy a brie round, puff pastry (pepperidge farm - found in frozen food aisle near pie shells)...and then nut of your choice (pecans, walnuts, etc)...light brown sugar and butter. Melt the butter, light brown sugar and nuts - I eyeball quantity but too much butter will make it runny. Put brie round on a plate and scoop the butter nut sugar mixture on top (ok if some runs over the side)...let the puff pastry thaw ahead of time but don't let it get too soft either. Un roll it and drape over brie. Get another plate and cover the brie so that the plates are sandwiching the brie. Hold the plates tightly and flip. Remove the top plate so that the brie is now upside down. Wrap the puff pastry and tuck it. When done flip back over so brie is right side up with nuts on top. Bake on a greased pan for 30-40 minutes at 350. It is done when puff pastry is puffed and cooked. Serve with carrs crackers and green apple.

Yeah rotel is velveeta and ro-tel (tomatos and chilis). Its awesomeness. I made the Buffalo chicken dip before and guess what? Dh didn't like it. See what I am dealing with here?

That's funny that you call it rotel dip, that's queso around here. I like to throw in a can of cream of mushroom soup too it stays more fluid when it cools

Your DH is broken...that stuff is solid gold
I just call it ro-tel dip because its made with a can of Ro-Tel. Queso here is typically queso blanco so I tend to see that as queso and this as something different, even though they are pretty much the same.
Yes DH is definitely broken. He eats so very few things I want to scream sometimes. He would not even try my homemade oatmeal cookies last night because he only likes chocolate chip and "oatmeal is gross"

What about baked brie?

My lazy sweet app idea.
Mix one jar marshamallow fluff and one pack or tub of strawberry cream cheese. Then serve with strawberries or other fruit.
Yummo.
