  •  For those who use this method and it failed,  was it because the guys slipped up and didn't pull out faster enough or did you really think you did everything exactly right?

No Flames please, but i have to ask because I was thinking of doing this for the next year. Sounds crazy I realize, but we have done this in the past with no problems. For those who use this method and it failed,  was it because the guys slipped up and didn't pull out faster enough or did you really think you did everything exactly right?

*And yes we have both discussed if this did fail, we would be completely fine with it, we are going to start actively trying at the end of next year.

Even if you do it perfectly, it can fail. There is often sperm in pre-ejaculant. The reason why people think it works is that normal couples only have a 20% chance of conceiving with perfect timing.  And since a lot of time sex happens during infertile times of the month, so it is possible to use it for a long time without getting pg, but that doesn't make it a reliable form of bc.

  • I agree its not 100 percent and we are okay with that. I just wondered what peoples experiences are who used it and got pregnant. My friend did and got pregnant, but in that circumstance he forgot to pull out. Your chances are also lower for success if the guy does not pee in between times, because the urine can kill the sperm in the uretha-therefore it wouldnt come out in the pre-ejaculate. I would never recommend it to someone who definitely not wanting a baby. and yes ive edited my post, I guess I am a little gun shy on here!

If you are a fertile woman having unprotected sex with a fertile man during your fertile period, you can get pregnant.  End of story.  Doesn't matter if he pees twice, turns in a circle and sacrifices a goat.  If you're not ready to have a kid, either don't have sex or use protection.

it's not like she is a teenage girl or something. She's married. Maybe they weren't officially TTC - but also were just letting whatever happened happen?

    Confused

  • If you are ready to be parents, pnp is perfectly acceptable. I would agree to call pnp "birth control"  is idiotic.

I would say this is a fair statement. I guess if you are saying it's your only form of BC - then yea, that's silly-  no matter what your age or marital status is.

but if you're married or in a commited relationship & ready to be parents & deal with whatever happens than that's your choice and I'm not going to judge.

If I am remembering correctly, she is only 19 or 20 now.

So yes, it was while she was a teenage girl.

ah. well, we've all done dumb things during that age. Scary what I thought I knew back then...!! Glad I made it through in one piece...!
