  Keira was on our list too! 

  Kira looks like it would be pronounced like Kyra.  It does have the male name Ira in it...thats why I think that.

  I like the name and I would pronounce both of the first two as keer-ah. That's how we pronounce my cat's name (see below)... I like "people" names for my pets.

  I have a student named Kyra (keer-ah) and it took forever for me to stop calling her ki-rah. I like Keira the best.
