omg with the diaper changes!

DH and I are changing diaper after diaper--as in we will change his diaper and then literally 5 minutes later he will be poopy again. Sometimes this happens 3 or 4 times in a row. Is this normal?

It slows down after a couple weeks. Now she only poops once or twice a day but they are huge.

Once, we went through four diapers before even getting her off the changing table! It does slow down, though...

definitely normal at that age. It will start slowing down as he gets older.

I have the same problem! My little girl and her sharts. Its only a nickel size of poop, but its enough to cause problems on her skin

I have started just leaving her diaper-less for a few minutes between changes. I'm currently trying to treat her rash (from her frequent poos) so this gets air to her bottom and also gives her a chance to "get it out" so we don't waste another diaper. I lay a cloth diaper underneath her and she ends up peeing and or pooing at least 50% of the time!

Sounds normal for us. We've learned to let him wiggle and kick a little at each step to work the poop out, and how to watch for the signs of immanent pee so we can absorb it with the old diaper or something already dirty.
