Charlize just started rolling regularly so I just took her bumper out of her crib. Her perfect sleep schedule was ruined by a docs suggestion so when she was fussing at 1230 I just let her fuss in her crib for about ten minutes before checking on her. Well when I went in she was face down and had one foot stuck, each in a different slat of her crib. She couldn't move. I am so horrified! I don't know what to do! Any suggestions on keeping her on her back and out of her slats?
Re: Is anyone still up?
I'm up. What was the doctors suggestion?
I have no suggestions. Sorry, we started co-sleeping shortly after we stopped swaddling.

I'm up but have no helpful suggestions. Sorry.
I love the siggy pics though!
We have been trying his slightly different version of Ferber but it has basically screwed her entire sleep schedule up. Plus we are unable to get her to sleep how she used to. Now she fusses and cries the second she hits the crib and it usually takes an hour to get her to sleep as oppossed to her 15 minute routine. Her wake up time is unpredictable now too.
I know it's probably best to get her to learn to fall asleep on her own, but I also feel like we shouldn't have messed with a good thing. She is working on week 3 of this I think and is just NOW starting to be able to learn to fall asleep on her own without fussing at bed time. Her wake-up time is still unpredictable.

Thanks!!! I got the dress as a gift, so not too sure. Why aren't you sleeping?
I'm a little over an hour south of you then.

A little late, but I just woke up to pump so I thought I'd try to help you out...or give some advice. My LO is almost 6 months old and she has STTN from like 2 months old; like 12 hours. She sleeps from like 6-7PM to 7-8AM. Anyway, I bf at night and sometimes she falls asleep on the boob and sometimes she doesn't. When she doesn't, I still put her down and turn on her crib soother and she has learned to put herself to sleep. I would stick to your old routine. There was no reason to change anything before. If she was STTN then she was putting herself back to sleep because babies naturally wake themselves up through the night just like we do. That's just my opinion. Side note: my DD is teething right now so on bad night she HAS to be rocked to sleep or she would just cry her little eyes out. I would just take it night by night. GL!
By the way, I just thought of my sister. She has a 15 month old and she bf her for a year. Anyway, up to that point she bf her to sleep and when she cut out the bfing, there was no problem. She would just put her in her crib and close the door. She might cry for a minute or 2 because she wants to be with her mommy, but then she lays down and closes her eyes.
Sorry so long...
