need pregnancy care provider recommendations

I am 14 weeks pregnant and just moved to the area.  I have been searching for homebirth related info in Ft Worth because I was thinking that is the way to go when I found a website with beautiful waterbirth and homebirth photography so now I know that is the way I want to go!  Only problem is I dont know anyone else thats had a homebirth so I dont know how they picked their midwife...

Does anyone have any suggestions?  I want some personal recommendations before I hire someone!  If no one has any ideas I might just contact the photographer and see who she has worked with? 

She is www.dfwbirthphotographer.com and I found this www.texasmidwives.com, but there are so many!

    check out dfwareamoms.com - you have to join to be a member and post questions and responses, but there are a ton of moms on that board who have had homebirths - there are also several moms who are midwives and doulas who can give you good information
