Regular BCP or low dose? Thoughts/experiences on either? Anyone who has used both--notice any differences? Thanks!

    Way back when I started on regular which made me feel nauseous.  I switched to low dose and had no issues whatsoever.

    I was on regular and loved the light periods. It lasted only 2 to 3 days and was so light that I used only panty liners. And I never felt a cramp, ever!! Would never have gone off except that we wanted a baby!!

    Quit the pill for numerous reasons. Changed to NuvaRing. LOVE the ring!!

    I tried a low dose (Loestrin) and it gave me horrible headaches. I then switched to Yaz which I loved but was afraid to go back on after the baby cause of all these commercials how it is bad for you. Taking Ortho Tricyclin now which I like.

    I am not as big of a fan of the low dose. I have about a 4 day period which is fine but I will spot off and on for the first week of the regular pills. I am on Ortho Tricyclin Lo and come next summer when I go back to the OB I will probably go back onto the regular dosage one.

    I was on the pill for a long time... I was on Orthotricyclin, Orthotricyclin Lo, (the generics of both), and I am trying to think of the last pill I was on but can't think of the name...

    Orthotrycyclin was good but after being on it for so long I started to gain weight so I asked for something else...

    Orthotrycyclin LO was good.. I felt much better on this than the regular one but I would often have spotting in between periods...

    The last one I was on was GREAT... It was a lower dose, no spotting, and it made my periods shorter... I am going to look it up and I'll post the name of it...

    Loestrin 24 is the name of the pill I liked... I was only on it for 3 months though and I stopped taking it because it was like $50 a month

    Regular ones made me a major b!tch...even my mom told me so....low dose was great. Currently on minipill, which I haven't felt any side effects from.
