Found out October 25th 2008, DH was with me, I was SCARED! but HAPPY! My pregnancy was wayyy easier than i thought it was going to be... only had morning sickness once, on our way to arizona. other than that, i was lucky!

  • My pregnancy was awesome. I never got sick, felt great and loved every second of it. I found out on Halloween last year and told DH in a very un-romantic way - rousing him from bed at 2:30 a.m. shrieking "DO YOU SEE A LINE HERE?!" (we had been trying for a year and I was only 9 DPO, so it was very faint).

Here is my favorite pregnancy pic because it's with my mom, my best friend, who sadly passed away from lung cancer two weeks after Leo was born.

This was my siggy pic from 3rd tri. Found out November 17th 2008, I was by myself...and freaked out! lol I didn't think SO and I were ready for a baby. I called SO at work and told him to come home. When I told him, he took it surprisingly well! I had a great pregnancy, no complications. And now we're happier than ever!

  • My pregnancy was great!  I felt really good up until the end despite being a week late.  We found out a year ago yesterday.  DH came home from work to see me staring at a test wondering if there was a line.  It was very faint so he didn't believe it.  I took a digital in the morning (a year ago today!) and there was no mistaking the "Pregnant" in the window.

Here I am at 34 weeks.  We traveled to Minneapolis for a friend's wedding and saw a Twins game.  DH and I are trying to make it to all the baseball stadiums.

  • My pregnancy went great!  Never had morning sickness, didn't even start showing until around 20 weeks.  The last month was the worst - heartburn everyday, very swollen feet, backache, headaches, high blood pressure, etc.  I was induced a week early due to these symptoms.  I found out Oct. 28th, 2008, on a Wednesday night.  I was supposed to start AF the Saturday before, and mentioned to DH that if I didn't start by the next Saturday, I would POAS.

Well, he came home that night with a 3 pack of tests!  So I POAS, with him in the bathroom, and within seconds it was positive.  I was SHOCKED!  I didn't believe it AT ALL!  Excited, but scared as well.  DH was sooo thrilled and wanted to call everyone that night....but I stopped him.  He also made me take another test before going to bed, which, of course, turned positive within seconds again!  That was a crazy night!

Here's me at 37 weeks (the last pregnant picture I took before having DS):

Not a great or artsy pic...but it's the best I've got!

Pregnancy was great! We found out September 16th. We were trying & the day I took the blood test (at home tests said no but AF was late) was the same day he got laid off from a great job..so it wasn't the way I imagined getting the news Crying

  • Found out Oct. 26. Pregnancy went pretty smoothly.. hardest part was 1st tri when I had no appetite and actually lost weight, then 3rd tri of course was uncomfortable. How I told DH- he was at the gym and when he came back I made him close his eyes then I put the test in his hand. We were both thrilled. :)

This is the only version of my maternity pics I have on the computer and it's a proof, but here it is:

Found out Oct 11, 2008. i was completely shocked (a week before my doctor had told me i was going to need to see a fertility specialist because i wouldnt be able to get pregnant without..) and insanely excited. DH was out of town so when he came home i gave him a gift bag with "I Love Daddy" bib and the positive pregnancy test. pregnancy went great. was never too sick, hardly gained weight..it was all in all, a great experience :)

  • Pregnancy was great...after the 12 week mark when morning sickness ended.  I had it horribly!  During that time, I actually lost 17 lbs.  yuck.  Found out October 1 last year.  Took a home test that morning, then called the Dr. since we had been going through fertility treatments.  I didn't tell DH until that night...don't ask me how I waited.  We were going to a Flyers hockey game and I had bought a bib a while back that said "#1 Flyers fan."  Our best friends were with us, and I told him during an intermission by giving him the bib.  He didn't understand at first, but soon caught on.  We were SO happy since we had been trying for a year.  Here is a pic of DH at the Flyers game wearing the bib, and one from pregnancy at 31 weeks.

  • I do not have a ton of pictures other then ones I took with the self timer.  I really wish my husband would have been here so I could have got some with him in it.  He left when I was only 13 weeks and came home when she was 2 months for 2 weeks.

I found out Sept 28 or 29.  I was feeling very tired for a few days.  The day before my period was due I was in the line at the grocery store (very long line at that) and I got out of line to get some hot wings.  Before going back to the checkout I grabbed a test lol.  I am not the kind of person that would get out of a long line for wings.  I went home and started dinner then went to the bathroom to take the test.  Once it showed up pregnant I took it and set it on my husband's lap while he was playing playstation then went back to the kitchen lol.  He totally didn't get it at first.  Once he actually looked at it he was very excited.  I was beyond excited.  We were trying for almost a year and I knew he would be leaving in a few months so it would be another year before we could try again.

All in all my pregnancy was not horrible, especially since I did most of it alone.  I had morning sickness (didn't with the first 2) and could not handle the smell of meet.  Once I hit about 18 weeks I was in so much pain pretty much daily.  My pelvic hurt very bad and still does.  I had hypermesis when I was about 22or so weeks and had to stay at the hospital for meds since I was not even holding water down.  Then from 30 weeks until I delivered at 38 weeks my feet and legs were beyond swollen and hurt so bad.  But I had a great labor and delivery, only thing that would have made it better is my husband being with me.  My water broke at 9 pm, contractions started a few hours on their own, then she was out at 3:12am with only one long steady push.

  • my pg was great.  i had pih so lots of extra appts,  but i felt fantastic the whole time.  We found ouy 9/30/08.  I had some gifts wrapped to give mh b/c we had been trying- so I put them in with his mail.

  • My pregnancy was great! I never got sick and worked (job standing) a week before I had Connor!  We found out Nov. 19, 2008..I was terrified! We were not trying and kind of felt like we were not ready for a baby.  He found out we were pregnant cause I was having a a panic attack on the toilet after looking at the test! haha He was happy though!

My DH was gone the whole pregnancy, so my twin sister went to every appt and baby class with me!

I had a hard pregnancy - sciatica bad, SPD, horrible rib pain, but with that said I would do it over in a heartbeat.  I wish we had done maternity picture.  That is my only pregnancy regret.

We found out October 4th, on our 6 month wedding anniversary, and a month after my husband had been home from his deployment.  Kellan was a welcome home surprise, but we were so happy!

This picture was me at 36 weeks.  Kellan was born at 38 weeks.  Being  a mother is so much more amazing then I ever expected.  I love it.  All of it.  Even the sleepless nights.  We are going to wait for a bit for our next one, but if that one is anything like this baby, I will be over the moon!

  • I found out the Thursday after Election Day.  I was so surprised!  We had been trying for 7 months and I had just taken my first dose of clomid.  I wasn't expecting to be pregnant at all for a few more months.  DH was still sleeping (it was about 6:00 AM) and I woke him up to tell him.  I was in such shock, it seemed too good to be true!  I had a great pregnancy, no sickness and no major aches and pains.  I was really lucky!
