Stacking coupons?

Have you been able to stack coupons at a grocery store? ?I tried at SuperFresh today and they wouldn't let me. ?

    only if it is a store coupon WITH a manufacturers' coupon.

    So far, I've only been successful at stacking a manufacturer's coupon with a Babies R Us coupon, a target internet coupon with a man. coupon, and a shortcuts coupon with a man. coupon.

    Occasionally, I've attempted to with a store coupon and manu. coupon, but they wouldn't accept both. This was at Albertson's and I think it might depend on who the cashier is also oddly enough.

    Sometimes in Albertson's ads I see coupons that will allow you to double a manufacturer coupon. So maybe they don't stack coupons, because they allow doubling sometimes if you read their ads?

    I have been able to stack at BRU and Target, but no where else. And like others said, it was when I had a store coupon and a man coupon.

    I've been able to do this.  I have used the coupons that print at the register combined with a manufacturers coupon on several occasions with no problems.
