QOTD: can you still wear your wedding ring or any rings?

Ok, so in the last week I have started swelling like CRAZY and I can no longer wear my wedding ring.  If I shared my swollen ankles/feet picture from last night you guys would vomit, for reals.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

QOTD: can you still wear your wedding ring or any rings?

Yes, I haven't had any swelling at all yet.  I hope it stays that way!

  • Yep, still wearing my wedding/engagement rings.
  • I have more ankle/foot swelling than hand/finger swelling so I'm good for now on the rings but I feel them get tight from time to time.  I plan on wearing mine around my neck when the day comes to take them off.

    This exactly for me!

  • I can still wear my rings - however I have noticed that some of my socks are getting a little tighter, and I was mortified at the Dr's appt the other day when she leant over and squeezed my ankle....I hadn't shaved in over a week - that will not be happening again!

  • Luckily no issues yet! But my cousin is due 1/14, and ended up having to get her ring cut off serveral weeks back! Scary!

  • QOTD: can you still wear your wedding ring or any rings?

Yup.  While is was still warmer later in the summer, my hands would be a little swollen in the morning and it would hurt to wear them for a long time, it is much better now and I don't have any issues.  Hopefully with the cooler weather coming for some areas, it will be better.

  • yup, still wearing em.

  • I can still wear my rings but I'd lost 35lbs before BFP so they were a bit loose to start. At this point they are basically fitting.
  • My ring still fits, a little tighter than usual though.  My feet get a little swollen also when I walk for a long period of time every now and then.  I hope they don't start swelling up completely.

  • Yep, I can still wear mine.
  • YES! I thought for sure I would not be able to wear them this long, but they are actually still fit just like they always have. I am praying for no swelling!

  • No swelling yet for me.  I take my rings off at night so should realize before it is too late if they are not fitting anymore.

  • Yep, I can still wear my rings, although they are harder to get off some nights more than others.  I haven't noticed any swelling anywhere yet!
  • My hands only swell up every once in awhile. When they do I definitly can't wear my rings but the rest of the time it's been fine.

  • Yes, I can still wear my wedding rings without a problem, although they are a little tighter.

I have noticed that if I wear my cute high heels out for more than a few hours that my feet will swell, but I refuse to wear flats just yet!

  • I just wear 1 or the other, because my e-ring and wedding band 2gether- its too tough to take off- too tight!

  • I had stopped wearing my rings very early on. Actually it was even before BFP. I had an asthma attack the weekend before I conceived and they put me on prednisone, so my fingers swelled up. Well after I got off the prednisone the swelling never went down. Not sure if that had to do with LO or being the hot summer. So I haven't had them on for a long time. I am wearing a simple diamond wedding band though because we got 2 wedding bands for some reason, and this is the one I decided not to use, but it is coming in handy now :)
  • QOTD: can you still wear your wedding ring or any rings?

Not my wedding rings but I can wear the others that I have. Well...I take that back I haven't tried to wear it in a while.  I put them on my necklace because I didn't want to wake up with the stuck on.

  • I still have no problem. Hopefully it will stay that way!
  • yes, i can still wear my rings... but some days my fingers feel like stuffed sausages and it's harder to put them on/take them off.
  • Still wearing my rings.  I think I was about 36 weeks with DS before I had to take my rings off.  We'll see how long I make it this time.
  • Luckily I haven't had any swelling and was able to wear rings throughout pg with #1...I'm hoping to be able to do that this time as well.  My rings are usually loose and I'll probably have them sized down after I deliver.
  • yes, I can still wear my rings and i am not really noticing any change in my feet either...
  • I can still wear both my engagement ring and wedding band. So far just my feet swell.
  • yup, still wearing my rings. they've always been loose on my fingers but tight getting over my knuckles.

  • Still wearing them, but they've been getting a little tighter. I think I'm going to wind up switching to a ring I have in a bigger size here shortly.
