Teething and bed rails

My first child is due 11/17 and DH and I bought a convertible/lifetime crib. To protect the wide rails the only thing we could find was the Leacho Easy Teether. They do not make them for the side rails. Some people say babies do not chew the sides or just only where there they see alot of stuff going on. Have any of yo experienced where your baby teethed on all the rails. I'm afraid I may have to buy 3 of these things.

    Sorry to say it, but DD ONLY chews the sides, lol. I bought the plastic covers that slip over the rail but she takes them right off. Im thinking of trying the gummy, teething cover rail that is adhesive next. For the long rail, we got the padded rail cover which seems to be working fine. GL!

    DS only chewed side too! We got the gummy strips, works wonders!

    :::knocking on wood:::  DD has never chewed on the crib yet.  We bought the convertible crib also.  She has also been teething for 5mo- we have 8 teeth now.  Maybe we are lucky.  My advice - wait and see what your LO does.

    ditto this - my 10 month old has 8 teeth and has had several very long and painful teething episodes.  She has not shown one iota of interest in teething on her crib.

    My son totally chews on the rails.  We need to get something to cover them stat!
