So, I put my little guy to bed at 10:30 last night and he slept until 5:30, I fed him, and I woke up at 10:30 and he's still asleep!! Now I know what people are talking about when they say that they were up awake all night worried when their LOs STTN for the first time! I don't quite know what to do with myself right now

And, I just pumped 8 oz. Wow.
Re: I'm glad I have the angelcare monitor!
If it makes you happy and works for you then it I guess that is good news.
My sister is an RN and was going to register for it but she and I found out there is not documented medical proof that this actually prevents SIDS from happening.
I'm an RN as well and we have babies that leave our hospital on apnea monitors. These monitors also will alarm at 20 seconds if there is an apnea episode....I'm not saying that these angelcare monitors are to the standards of the hospital grade monitors that some kids are placed on but it does give me peace of mind when he is quiet for that long.
