I did them while he was still in the nicu...the picture I used he had a feeding tube in his nose and his arm on one of the stabilizer boards due to an iv.
We are waiting until he comes home, and I am going to use both a picture of him in the NICU, and one after he gets out. This way everyone can see how much he has grown.

That's what we did. We did a Shutterfly announcement with three pictures, one from her real "birth day", one close up of her tiny foot, and then one picture at home with us. We also posted the date and measurements at birth and on her "homecoming." People seemed to like them, and it was fun to announce that she was finally home.
We had photos done the last day at the NICU, so we decided to use those photos. Annabelle was only a week and half old at the time the photos were taken.
