I'm the worst mom ever.

I was sitting here, Addy in her play pen sleeping, and I heard a soft thwap. Looked around, didn't see anything, went about my business. Then, I saw a huge roach crawling up the side of the pack n play and what do I do? Do I knock it off and away from my baby? Do I grab Addy? Do I kill it?

No. I run away from it and yell for DH to kill it. All the while, my helpless defenseless baby is asleep with this massive roach heading up the side and into her playpen.

Ugh! I'm the worst mom ever.

    lol. I probably would have done the same thing. Though I did kill a spider that was crawling towards Matthias. But he was going to eat it and DH was not home.

    OMG ewwww!  I just got the chills thinking about it.  I hate roaches!  I would have done the exact same thing.  Maayyybeee grabbed Christopher, but not likely.

    Yeah, I can't even explain it. My first inclination was get the hell away from this bug. Then I was like, MY BABY. Then I was like, OMG THE BUG.

    I'll just keep telling myself that I just didn't want to wake her and that's why I didn't get her.

    Roaches are incredibly icky and best handled by DH's. I would've done the same thing.
