Yup! I listen to his podcasts almost every day. It makes so much sense. Why pay payments your whole life, when you can pay yourself 'payments', earn compound interest and retire a millionaire!
Me! I love his radio show and listen almost every day. I can't wait until we get to call in and yell "I'm Debt Freeeee." It shouldn't be too much longer...
Some of his advice is good, but he's so preachy I just cant stand to listen to much of it.
Just wondering... how specifically do you find him preachy?
He is very religious and it gives his advice a preachy spin that I just dont like. I prefer my financial advice without a side of Jesus, tyvm.
Ah, gotcha. I know he's a Christian, and he does talk about it. But I don't feel like his show it saturated with it or anything. He spends basically the whole show taking calls and answering listeners questions.

Come on he is pretty preachy. I have been listening to him for about 6 years, read his book, and been to his seminars. I am not a Christian but he blatantly tell you that Jesus doesn't like debt, etc. His advice is sound or else I wouldn't listen but seriously how is that not preachy? But I also like Susie Orman.
I don't have time to listen to his radio show or podcasts, but I did enjoy the seminar DH and I attended a few years ago. We did the debt snowball and we are working our way towards debt-free! The only thing left is my student loans.
Another loyal podcast listener (and I listen to the archives at work).
He is SUPER preachy when it comes to religion, I just tune it out. His other advice is great. We are paying off DH's car 2 years early (next month!) and are moving on to student loans soon.
