We have gone a couple of times with my son and plan to go Monday night with both my kiddos. The kids have a lot of fun. There are professional carved pumpkins and decor all set up. If you get there at opening some of the animals are still out. They have candy stations all over the zoo so the kids end up with a bunch of candy which makes them happy. There are lots of photo opportunities. I remember there being a carousel one year but not sure if it was there last time. Your daughter will have a great time and it's fun to see all of the kids in their costumes. It gets pretty packed so be sure to allow ample time for parking. They even open up a second lot for all of the cars.
ETA: Here are some pics I took from the Boo at the Zoo in 2007. I took my son who was 4 at the time and my son's older brother (my ex's son).
