My old one died while we were on vacation (in a serious way ... it started taking some freaky pictures before it completely conked out). I really wanted to get a DSLR but decided that I just couldn't live without video, and I really didn't want to juggle a camera and a video camera. So we went with a Canon G10. Getting it tomorrow, I can't wait!
