Is this worth buying? I've been using OPK's, seems like I get strange results sometimes- like an LH surge before I should be ovulating, etc. Seems like the monitor would be much more effeciant and take a lof of guess work out of it.
I use the Clearblue Easy Monitor. I love it. I bought mine used on ebay for way less than a new one. You might need to reset it (which you can find the instructions for that on the clearblue website). The only crappy thing is that a box of 30 sticks which should last 3 months cost around $30.

I just wanted to jump in and say I love your screen name.
I haven't tried the CBEFM because I have longish cycles so it might not work for me.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I still try to temp and use OPK's to make sure - the control-freak personality that I have. I do like it and it is easy to use. As the pp said - look for a used one and then find the re-set instructions online. I don't know if the CBEFM website has it - because it tried to persuade you from using someone elses - but you can clear out the memory so it works with your cycles better.

Same here. Even thought it was a little pricey, I really liked it and if you're charting, you can get pretty close to guessing when you'll see a smiley so you don't waste too many sticks.
