How many times/day do you call home?

How many times/day do you call home to check on LO? I'm having a REALLY hard time with being back to work and just promised my hubby (he and his mom takes care of LO during the day since he works a different shift than I do) that I would only expect one call in the AM and one in the mornign - but I REALLY want to call every hour. How often do you call home to check on LO? PS - I HATE working - it's killling meeeee

DS is in daycare 4 days/week and with my mom 1day/week. I never call to check on him unless I realize I forgot to mention something to one of them. They'll call me sometimes if there is a question or issue, but I don't call just for checks. I know he's in good hands and feel confident that if there are any concerns or questions, they will call me.

I always call daycare at my lunch break or if I have time I will run over to see DD. Mon and Friday when shes with my dad or DH I call maybe once or twice. They mostly will text me and keep me updated because they know I like to be involved with her days.
