Mommy and Me/New Mom Support Groups?

Hi,

Does anyone know of any Mommy and Me or New Mom Support Groups in the near west suburbs (or in Oak Park area?)  I would love to get involved in something like this since I will soon be a new stay-at-home mom but am unaware of any local groups.

    Most women I know started with  new mom's group through their hospital. good luck!

    Hi! you should check out www.meetup.com to search for moms groups in your area. I belong to a few groups that are in the city and I'm sure they have them for the burbs too!

    I know of at least 1 good Oak Park Moms meetup group on Meetup.com so I'd second giving that a try.  I'm actually a member but haven't made it to a meetup in, well, a really long time.
