Pregnant after 35

Ugh. Why is my m/s getting worse?

I was hoping that my m/s (nausea, dry heaving, no hurling.... yet) would get better as I transition out of my 1st tri, but it's gotten worse in the past two days!  I have felt the worse yesterday and so far today than in the past couple of weeks.  So frustrating.  But, I guess it can be worse -- I could be hurling for the entire 9 months like one of my friends did.....

  • Mine stopped about 17-18 weeks. Hope yours comes to an end soon!

  • Mine seemed to go away within the last week - after 16 wks. Hang in there!
  • Ugh is right- same thing for me.

  • Mine did that at the tail end of 1st tri.  I would think it was getting better, but then I'd have a horrible couple of days, until finally it tailed off completely, around 12 or 14 weeks.  I still get m/s moments here and there - I've had a couple this week that have just about sent me over the edge.  enough already!  hope yours goes away soon!!
  • I've had a couple days where I thought "I'm better!" and then not so much.  I *think* it's starting to trail off a little - I hope.  My last pregnancy I felt better by 14 weeks.  GL and hang in there.
  • Mine stopped around 15 wks.  I too, was expecting the end of the 1st tri to be the end of m/s.  For some of us, it goes longer.

    I hope it ends soon!!

  • Mine was the worst around week 17 with both of my  past pregnancies.  Even after that it never really went away.  No fun at all!  I don't mean to be a downer but I can just remember everyone telling me not to worry, that it would pass by 12 weeks and then by 15 weeks and then by 18 weeks, etc. and so each time it didn't go away I would just get even more frustrated.

I hope yours goes away soon!

Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
