How long after your loss did you conceive?

in Pregnant after a Loss

My doctor put me on birth control for 1 month to jump start my period (my 2 week follow up was yesterday) and said that we could ttc right after.

He said that he believes my chances are excellent with this next pregnancy and the plan is for me to take 81mg of asprin daily...

How long did it take you ladies to get your BFP?  i know this varies from person to person... I just find hope in women who've been in my shoes and have found success.

    we were told to wait 2 cycles, so on cycle #3 we concieved.

    First, I'm so sorry for your loss.

    With my first loss, I TTC the next cycle, got pregnant and lost twins at 8 weeks. With the second loss, I took the advice of my Dr. and waited 3 months and now I am pregnant and things have gone just fine. GL!

    After our loss in May, we waited the recommended 3 cycles. Got a faint BFP first cycle trying, which ended in a CP. We were told we didn't have to wait and we conceived this baby before the next period.

    We waited 2 cycles after my D&C (March 24) to try, then got pregnant on the 4th cycle after that.

    We waited the recommended 3 cycles, then I had long cycles for 3 months. I started clomid and got pg that first cycle. GL and sorry for your loss.

    We were told to wait one complete cycle and got pregnant right afterward.  Good luck  :)

    I found out about our missed miscarriage in April 08. It then took 3 months to actually miscarry. We started TTCAL in September 08. So, it took us 10 cycles to get pg after my miscarriage, but a year and a half after I got pg the first time.

    Got pregnant the first cycle after my first loss, but that ended in another miscarriage. We tried again after one cycle this time, but it took 4-5 cycles.

    We waited one cycle after our loss.  I got my BFP on the 5th cycle of trying after my m/c.  I am sorry for your loss and wish you the best in TTC.

    we were told to wait until AF came on her own.  Then it took us 3 cycles.  Best of luck!

    AF came 30 days after my D & C and we started TTC right away -it took 10 cycles however ...GL to you !

    We waited 7 months before TTC because I really wanted to finish up school, but we just got a BFP after our first cycle trying!

    We were told to wait 1 or 2 cycles, we waited until after 1 cycle and got pg the first cycle trying. 
    EDD: 01/08/10, Born 8 weeks early on 11/16/09 at 32w3d due to pre-eclampsia and partial abruption

    My loss was ectopic and I wasn't able to start trying again for 3 months.  It took 3 cycles after that.

    After my Ectopic it took 3 cycles. After my M/C it took 1 cycle...

    My OB told us to wait 3 cycles and we did. My cycles were never regular after that, and here we are finally 14 months actually about 10 cycles later.  Hope this time baby sticks.

    We were told to wait 2 cycles after my D&E. We waited just one cycle to start trying, but it took 3 crazy, irregular cycles to get pregnant again.

    3 cycles after first AF, and HSG (which I think may have helped us out, since it took us 10 cycles to get the first BFP)  I used CBEFM the whole time, and charted the last  6 cycles.

    we were told to wait one full cycle before they would start fertility treatments again...that didn't happen. we got PG on our own about 3 weeks after our loss.
