I have my 36 weeks appt Friday, so far I'm planning on the normal check up, first internal, group B strep test, and finding out position of baby. I'm also getting the H1N1 shot. Anything else I should ask about?
PCOS, Ectopic & M/C of twins October 2010, Currently TTC #2
my OB didn't do my first internal appt until 38 wks, i'm sure they're all different - I was really uncomfortable all day with the strep test. I ended up with some intense braxton hicks in the evening, but they said that normally doesn't happen.
I just had mine yesterday. I actually didn't have any questions other than when would the H1N1 vaccine be available (we don't have it) and when would be it too late for me to receive it.
Good luck!
PS- I had an u/s at 35 weeks and I did ask the baby's weight.
Maybe just double check with your dr. about what procedures he/she would like you to follow in case you go into labor (or think you do) before your next appointment.

This is what I plan on doing on Saturday at my 37 week appt. I didn't see my regular OB for my 36 week appt.

I am going to be heading in for the same thing. I plan on asking my doctor about the labor and delivery floor rules because a lot of hospitals around here are putting in place some pretty strict rules as to who is allowed on the labor and delivery floor. I'm sure she would go over this anyways but I really couldn't think of anything to ask this time.
