Sorry you had a rough night, hope it gets better tonight. I have had 7 total hours of sleep in the past 56 hrs and i am pooped. This is DH tour at the station so he has been working 24 hr shifts every other day which means I am losing it all alone. Is Kate having regular poops? Sara wasnt and so I checked her temp rectally and she exploded with gas and poop making her feel so much better. I hope Kate feels better and gets some rest! and you too!

    I feel your pain girl.. I am so worn out and doing my best to comfort my sweet pea. This is a new thing for her in the past 2 days. I don't get it...Kate poops with almost every feeding so it's not like shes backed up. I just called the pedi and he said to try a teaspoon of gripe water a day to see if that helps... ive read that it does wonders so we'll see...mylacon (sp?) doesn't seem to be helping her little tummy. its so hard to see her so upset.

    have you tried gripe water??

    Mylicon doesnt seem to be helping Sara either, so DH took care of her why I went on my first alone outing to Target to get some gripe water. If Sara doesnt seem better tonight I am going to try it. Hope it works for you and you and kate sleep!

    I have to tell you that we started using the gripe water this afternoon and she is already calming down....we also put her in her swaddle me which seems to be helping. her tummy doesnt seem to be upset. i'll let you know how tonight goes...my mom is staying here tonight. i pumped a couple bottles for her to give her so we can sleep tonight. hope you had fun at target...i went there on saturday, it was such a nice little break!
