Does anyone here see a pediatrician at Broadway Med. Center in the Hollywood district? We're looking for a ped. and that's where I went as a kid and I'm thinking that's where we'll bring our kiddo. I've tried calling twice to make an appointment for a pediatrician to see our baby after he's born, but have been on hold for over 15 minutes each time and have hung up out of frustration. Is that normal or did I just happen to catch them during busy days?
Re: Broadway Medical Center
Hmm, I wouldn't put up with being on hold for 15 minutes. Once you have a sick and crying baby, you won't have time (or patience) to deal with that.
A couple of my friends go to Anne Vestergaard and lot of twin parents go to Coughlin. The pro of the clinic is that there are a lot of doctors, so you can get in easily at the last minute. The con of the clinic is that it's crowded, so you might feel rushed. Also, one of my friends wanted to do a slower vaccination schedule but felt pressured by the staff to stick to the CDC schedule.
You might want to check out Urban Mamas for more information about pediatricians in the NE/SE area.
I have a friend who takes her son to Dr. DiSimone (sp). She is very very happy with him/her.
That stinks that you got put on hold for so long. That doesn't seem right at all.
