1st Trimester

first beta is in! :)

I'm having my Beta HCG levels checked since I had a miscarriage in March.  I had it drawn this morning and the nurse just called and said it was 1,652 or "very positive" as she put it! Big Smile Here's hoping it doubles by Thursday!!!

  • I too had a m/c back in March so I'm wondering if they will also do a quantitative hcg. I know I'm getting betas drawn Thursday and hope they have me come back again to draw them a 2nd time.

I'm sure they will have you do 2 draws.  They can't tell anything from the first draw except that you are in fact pregnant.  Good luck to you!!

  • I had a m/c in August and was 13 weeks along thought I was 15. I wonder if they will treat mine like I have never been pregnant. I just took a test today and it was positive ( digital). I made an appointment for this week.
  • Great news! I had a m/c last year and I went thru the same thing.  I went weeks 3-6 of taking them twice a week.  All good so far, and good luck it was nerve wrecking at times for me.
