Yesterday

My sister (my only sibling, lives in Michigan - married to a Coastie) called me at work. Was basically jumping up and down through the phone.  (Her daughters are 7 and 9 and she's having baby fever....she's trying to convince her husband to try for #3).  She followed up with, oh I wish we could be pregnant together! (me too!) Of course, she wanted to call my parents immediately, but then realized they may not know yet.

BIL (my favorite of DH's 2 brothers, lives in So. Ca.) called DH and said jokingly, "Couldn't you keep it in your pants?"  His 16 year old daughter is asking to come spend next summer with us to help out.....we may take her up on that.  She's a really good kid....annoyingly good. LOL

Today

FIL (he and MIL live just north of Austin). Left a VM for DH...."Hey guys, we're having a great day. SH!T, I guess we're having a very great day!!  We just got the mail. Give us a call!"

 

I think my parents must be living under a rock....well, pretty darn close, they're up in BFE in Northern Ca.  If they don't call today, I'm calling on my way home from work tonight.

    That's awesome.  I hope your parents get it today, sometimes the mails is crazy.  Last year it took over a week for my mom to get her mother's day card and she mailed me one and I got it 2 days later

    Fun! I wish I had the discipline to wait to tell or do it in a cute way. I told DH by taking a flying leap from the bathroom to our bed and almost put his eye out with a pee stick. By sundown that evening everyone in the free world knew I was KU.

    Maybe I'll do better the next go round. I doubt it though.

      LOL.  I wanted to keep it quiet but DH was too excited and told everyone he ran into.
