Jumping over from third tri to see if anyone has any recommendations for cribs that are 100% formaldehyde free, and preferably not made in China. So far the only ones I've found for under $1000 are the Argington (but made in China), the Oeuf, and Pacific Rim cribs. I think some million dollar baby cribs are low formaldehyde, but they are made in china. any other recs for under 1k? (I know a lot of companies claim to use nontoxic stains, but I want more than that) I also really like the Stokke, but that's 1000.
thanks.
Re: formaldehyde-free crib recommendations?
Our crib is Amish made- with three ingredients that came listed on the packaging:
- Oak
- Linseed Oil
- Bolts
Gotta love it!! And our mattress is organic, too- from Naturepedic.
along the same lines as pp you could look for locally made wood furniture.
yeah, i have looked locally, and unfortunately everything is over 1000.
To the other poster, I LOVE the romina cribs, and they are super eco-friendly, but the one we like is about 1200.
