When did you order your crib/furniture?

DH and I have chosen our nursery furniture (crib, dresser and mirror)... still looking for the perfect glider!

I am planning on ordering the furniture online right after our BIG u/s on the 28th... not that it matters- we are getting the same furniture regardless of gender. But for some reason, I feel like I need to wait until after I see the baby again to order it...... is that stupid?

When are you/did you order your furniture??

My mom ordered it for me at 23 weeks. I have yet to pick it up.

I was about 22 weeks when we ordered our crib. I'm 28 weeks and we don't have any other furniture. Someone just bought our changing table off our registry (shower is in 2.5 weeks) and my parents are buying the glider/ottoman for my birthday in a month.

I just ordered mine on Saturday, so just shy of 25 weeks. But it will only take 2-3 weeks to come in. Some places take A LOT longer. But ordering it right after your u/s should be fine!

With my 1st DD, I didn't start ordering anything until 30wks. I bought all of her furniture from target online. It arrived fairly quickly, and I'm glad it did because she came very early at 35wks!!! I had everything put together and setup by then thank god....Lesson Learned: Have nursery done by 30-33wks. This time I definately will in case this baby decides to come early too!!

I picked up our crib last weekend (17 weeks).

I just need to order the dresser that I already have picked out and I'm mostly just waiting for it to go on sale?! I've already got a rocker that my grandparents refinished to match for us but we need to get new cushions. I also need to stain some shelves and a bookcase that we already have to match at well. UGH - so much to do!

I am 25w and my daughters crib was just delivered today. I found out at 19w she was a girl.

I'm 19 weeks and we have picked out a basic crib at BRU, but not yet ordered it. We bought a dresser and bookshelf/toybox on Friday. I was worried about backorder delays. But since these were floor models, we'll get them right away.

Same thing here. We're using a hand-me-down dresser and nightstand, so we didn't need to order anything else. Got the glider from BRU around 20 wks.

We got our crib from Ikea and picked it up yesterday. We already had the shelving units we'll be using in the nursery, and we found a great glider on craigslist and a changing table at a consignment sale.

I did feel a little silly putting the nursery together at around 20 weeks, but I know I'll be glad to not have to deal with assembling furniture and moving stuff around when I'm in my 3rd trimester.

We're expecting in the next 4 weeks, we are currently clearing out the room that will be the nursery and we still have to find the crib we want. We're using a dresser from FILs so I need to figure out the style to match the crib

We ordered the crib from JCPenney on Monday of last week and it was available for pickup from the store on Friday.

We have already picked out our furniture and will order it right after Thanksgiving. It takes about 8-10 weeks, but we didnt want it to come before the room was ready.
