What did your child do that amazed you today?

Kids grow up so fast.  Everyday is a new behavior or face.  Did your child take his/her first step today or scrunch his/her nose for the first time?

  • Today I tried to reason with a 2-year old. She refused to put on her coat to take a walk to the park. When asked why, she responded "If I wear a coat, no one will see my pretty dress!" Kids amaze me, such huge personalities in such tiny packages!

  • Alex told me that he cannot eat candy anymore because he will get cavities, LOL and Max is having an amazing turn around at the hospital today and hopefully going home tonight! Yeah for everything good today!

  • Zoe's memory astounds me. We will put away one of her babies before bedtime and first thing in the morning she will go retreive it from wherever we left it! There is no fooling her!
  • Matthew sat up with his hands in the air for a few seconds!  Plus, he took a sippy cup for the first time today!
  • Just yesterday he started babbling different sounds.. instead of the usually "eh ta la la" it was more like "abugh abugh abugh" lol which I had never heard him say. It sounds like he's trying to learn more words :)
  • Abraham pushed himself off of his bed with his arms fully extended and started moving his knees back and forth (kinda like a crawling motion)! He didn't get anywhere but it was fun to watch.

  • omg Joshua is scrunching up his nose like crazy all the time. it is too cute!!!
  • When we drop Chelsea off at school - she knows to put her pacifier in her cubby until nap time. She does this herself.  And at the end of the day, when I go to pick her up - as soon as she see me - she make a bee line to her cubby to get her paci!  It is hilarious!  She doesn't go to me - she goes straight for her paci!  Elijah's new thing - PITA - when it's time for bed time - I go to shut off his TV and he tells me, "Five minutes mommy, it's not finished!"
