I just wanted to know, how behind i am with everything? Or are there some other 30 weekers that are still not prepared?
I have cleaned out the den and moved the pc and books to other rooms in the house, but the room is still a disaster and needs painting and the carpet cleaning; and because the room isn't done the crib still isn't built.
I still haven't packed my hospital bag, and don't really know what to pack.
I only have a few bits of clothing, but they are not washed nor put away for LO.
And lastly my belly button still hasn't popped! Waaaaa!!
Am i really crap, please tell me there are some others who are not ready!
Re: 30 weeks and having a slight panic attack!
We are not ready AT ALL! We have to move at the beggining of December... So in all reality we may not be ready until after I'm 37 weeks...
Your doing better than me!
My nursery isn't done either. DH and his friend are going to paint the second coat and hang the border paper today. My crib is put together, but the dresser isn't. Its still sitting in the box, in our hallway. I haven't even thought about packing my hospital bag, nor is my carseat installed. All of LO's clothes are washed, but they are not organized as I'm waiting for the dresser to be put together.
In a nutshell, you're not alone. You still have plenty of time left.

Our nursery still isn't done.
You have 10 weeks for your bag. Chill.
My belly button hasn't popped either and honestly, I hope it doesn't.
Try to relax... you don't need a crib right away or even a designated "baby room" right away. As long as you have a place for the baby to sleep he/she will be just fine, you could get an inexpensive bassinett to keep in your room until you get the baby's room ready. as far as washing clothing, i am actually waiting until after my baby shower to do that (I will be 33 weeks at that point). Hospital bag, I wouldn't worry about that now, you have 10 weeks to pack! Maybe if you just write a list of what you want to go in your bag and put it on the fridge, you'll feel a bit better?
everything will work out just fine :-)
