So I'm sitting in urgent care right now...

  • And they have a sign that says that if you have any flu symptoms wear a mask. There are like 4 kids with theSe symptoms yet none are wearing masks!! For the love of God, put on a mask. Im aLmost wishing I stayed home.

      I would put one on myself!

      If it is just a check-up my Pedi puts the well kids in another room away from the sick.

      I would tell the receptionist or nurse to say something to these people. You have not idea how many people actually can't read!

      FWIW masks don't really help if you are wearing one preventatively.  They only help to keep from spreading germs if you are already sick.

      And they don't do much for that according to the documentary we watched on Discovery Health the other night!

      Meh, don't worry I have abotu 20% of my students and faculty have it, it has been here for a month. I have been coughed and sneezed on and we are still good so far. This is not certain illness. You may be just fine.
