got my membrane stripped

We'll see if it works.  I got it done yesterday even though it was an internal struggle. I felt better knowing that it will only work if my body and my baby are ready. If it doesn't work, I'll do it again Thursday in hopes to avoid the induction scheduled for next Tuesday.  I'm bleeding and lost more of my mucus plug this morning (SICK!).  I starting getting cramps immediately after she stripped it and I've had them since. I've had some contractions, but they aren't close enough or regular enough to time yet.

      Well for me it didnt hurt any more than a regular internal. I only say this because I had NO IDEA my doctor stripped my membranes yesterday and only found out because I called wondering why the hell I was bleeding more than usual after getting what I thought was a simple internal and thats when I was informed of what happened.

    I expected it to be worse than it was.  That being said, it was pretty uncomfortable, but it wasn't painful, and the doctor who did it has small fingers. That sounds gross, but I really think that makes a difference.  It was more of an uncomfortable pressure. 

    I've heard some doctors do it without notifying the patient and I'd be SOO mad if mine didn't tell me.   If this time doesn't work, I'll try it again Thursday. Thanks for the luck, ladies!
