What brand jeans does he wear? I got Jonah a pair of 12 month from Carter's and they are so tight. All his other Carter's 12 months is big. The length is perfect but when they are buttoned they look like they are so tight on his little belly

Any suggestions for big boys with a thick waist?

I have to get him bigger sizes and then roll them up. I found that the ones with just elastic at the back are the best ones. He has a pair from Kenneth Cole and they fit him perfectly. I got them at TJ Maxx they are long but I just cuff them and they are find. His 24 month CP ones are too small

The Children's Place has adjustable waistbands in their pants ... you may need to go up a size, but then you can tighten them to be comfy for him.

Some gap pants also have those adjustable waistbands.

stay away from old navy. They tend to run small these days.

Ha can wear 6-12 Gap. But the waist is a little tight b/c of his buddah belly!

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. These do have a elastic waist in the back but it doesn't stretch enough for my little piggy lol. I'll just go big and roll them up!

I haven't started really. I've been finishing up my drug test and paperwork and start next week orientation. I'm super excited! The wedding is coming great. Pretty much all the big things are taken care of just need to make some money so I can order the decorations and reserve hotel rooms! I bet you are glad to have it over with! It seems so far away!

I just buy bigger ones and roll up the length a little. He has 18 month pants (well some are 12-18) from TCP, ON, Gap and Gymboree. I can't remember exactly how the different brands fit, but for the most part they are ok.

I tend to prefer elastic waist bands anyway b/c even in the bigger sizes his belly gets kind of cut into. He also has huge thighs. well, he is pretty big all over!! Wink

In Jonah's defense, I think that the pants carter's makes are just tight. Not the cotton ones that come with onesies, or are sold in two packs that to match other onsies or their "athletic" styles. I'm talking about the jeans/cords/cargo "real" pants. Fahimy is pretty skinny, and his 9 month pants are so tight, even though the height is perfect. I got a pair of 12 months on clearance, and those are tight too (and long also!).

Jonah-bear is such a cutie!
