Ds doesn't wake much at night but when he does (maybe 1-2 times a week) we give him a bottle and he falls right back asleep. If you don't give a bottle what do you do? It's the only thing besides cio that works. Thanks!
I let my DD cry for a little while. At first she would cry for about 20 minutes, but once she figured out I wasn't coming so would only moan for a couple of minutes and then she would put herself back to sleep.
If ds wakes up at night we first try to rub his back and get him back to sleep. If he is already standing or sitting in his crib then I'll pick him up and rock him (in my arms) back to sleep. This doesn't always work, if all else fails I will give him a bottle but I use that as a last resort because it took us so long to drop that night feeding.
