on the Long Lupron protocol, my CD1 was August 7th and my ER was September 15th. So it was a little over a month. and that includes my time on BCP. I started stims in September 4th.
good luck!
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
As you say, it will vary a lot based on which protocol your doctor uses.
I did a long Lupron protocol. The first day of my period was Jan 17, and egg retrieval was on Feb 24. In between those days I took birth control, Lupron, and finally, 9 days of stims.
Hope that helps! Good luck!
After 7 failed IUIs, IVF w/ ICSI worked!!
I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.
On antagonist for me, I started BCPs on Sept 8, and stims on Oct 5. We had the ER today, I stimmed for 12 days, so one I started injectibles it was around 2 weeks.
For me it has ranged anywhere from 12 days to 18 from CD1 to ER. My first IVF I stimmed much fewer days than my 2nd. Note: My RE does not use BCP and I start Lupron the day I start stims.

Long Lupron: As long as 8 weeks with BCP
Antagonist: As short as 3 weeks if you don't do BCP but can be about 5 weeks.

And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!
At my clinic it's about 6 weeks from starting BCP to the ER.
