Okay, I love Friends, but there are definitely some inconsistencies.

Like the many times that Chandler seems surprised when he sees pics of Monica from HS. He met her when she was in HS.
Or like when Rachel is playing "the ball is in your court" games with Danny/Yetti and says she's going to a Regatta Gala but has never sailed - yet she teaches Joey how to sail.

What has always always bothered me is how much Courtney Cox's face changes through the seasons. Plastic surgery much?
she looked a lot better with short hair ... the season after the season where she and Chandler first got together, she started growing out her hair and from then on she looked like crap.
ITA. And her eyes! You can tell she has them lifted a few times. She looks like she can barely blink by the final season. LOL She was so much prettier in the early seasons.

Yes, yes, yes! I clearly agree since I bolded and underlined. This ALWAYS bugged me! Did they switch writers between those episodes or something? Someone didn't stop and say, wait this sounds familiar?
But, I still adore the show!
I've always had a thing where I need to watch TV to fall asleep. But I could never watch anything but Friends. It's because I've seen Friends so many times that I don't feel like I need to stay awake to find out what happens.
So yeah, I'd watch Friends DVDs to fall asleep... and I probably did that for about 4 years, possibly even more than that.
A lot of inconsistencies... but it's so good that you can forgive them.
I have the Friends trivia game and no one will play it with me because I dominate.
OK, I'm going to be a geek here.
When Chandler said he loved Monica in The One Where Everyone Finds Out, there was no mention made of it being the first time. I think the big deal about it was that he said it in FRONT of everybody: "Because I'm in love with Monica!"
Another inconsistency that has always bugged me is in the one where Ross and Rachel get married in Vegas. The whole driving plotline here is how the pen marks won't come off of her face....yet R&R show up hungover to breakfast the next morning and they are mysteriously gone, no explanation. lol! I also hate how "Just Married" is written on Ross's back PERFECTLY and NEATLY...by a supposedly drunk-off-her-ass Rachel.
