Do you give finger foods for snacks too?

This may sound stupid, but I'll ask anyway.  Right now I give DS some finger foods (puffs, cherrios or fruit) after his breakfast or dinner.  My MIL, who watches him during the day, is dying to feed him so would I be messing up his feeding schedule if I told her its ok to give him some snacks during the day?  You give him one and he'll eat 100!!  TIA!

    Does she feed him lunch? Can she give him some with lunch?  I try to give DD a finger food at each meal, just b/c she loves feeding herself so much.  Maybe some soft carrot pieces, egg yolk, or banana?

    I think it would be ok to give him a few cheerios or puffs

    I would give dd a few puffs or cheerios throughout the day, sometimes pieces of cheese.
