I'm in teething hell...help!!

DS has been teething for about 2 weeks now.  Drooling, chewing on hands, crying, pulling on ear, etc.  It is getting progressively worse but I still don't feel the teeth.  How long does it take for them to surface / pop through??

He was at the pedi last week and they confirmed it was just teething.  I am taking him back in tomorrow for them to check his ears out quickly to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection.

I give him the Little Teether tablets daily and he gets occasional Tylenol.  Nothing seems to help him lately, even Orajel wears off for him after about 10 minutes.  He won't take any type of cold teethers... He has even tired of his Sophie.

Did anyone's LO's experience teething like this?  How long did it last???  For the love of God, someone please tell me this will end soon!!

    DS was going through this last week... he seems better now, although still no teeth.  I guess he's just getting used to the pain.  Anyway, the things that helped were giving him a cold wet washcloth to chew on (I put it in the fridge) and cold bottles.  He also loves chewing on my fingers.  Good luck!

    I feel your pain...DS is going through the same thing.  Does he take a paci? We put them in the freezer...it works for a bit, but nothing realy works completely or for that long.  I just wish he'd cut the tooth already!!
